Information Collected by TechTrage
If a user wishes to subscribe to our mailing list and/or newsletter, we collect and retain contact information such as name, email and mailing address. We may also collect and retain information regarding the types of information or topics that are of interest if we are provided with that information, as well as identification of which communications our users wish to receive.
Use of Information
Except as disclosed to you or as otherwise described in this Policy, as may be amended from time to time, TechTrage will not share any personally identifiable information that subscribers or web site users provide to us with any third party for their direct marketing purposes. TechTrage will disclose info to the extent necessary to comply with applicable laws or legal processes. We will cooperate with law enforcement authorities. TechTrage may share your personal information where it is necessary for us to complete a transaction or do something that you have asked us to do.
TechTrage uses visitors' IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site. We also use them to gather broad demographic information about our users in general. Using E-mail and Mailing Addresses
TechTrage may send out e-mail and mail to our subscribers about services and products offered by TechTrage and our partners. TechTrage may work with service providers to assist with these mailings, and these service providers may have access to your personally identifiable information. If a child under 13 submits information through any part of the site without verification of parental consent, and we learn the person submitting the information is a child or such consent has not been verified, we will attempt to delete this information as soon as possible. Because we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13, we do not use or disclose such information to third parties.
Because TechTrage operates in many countries, circumstances could arise where it is necessary for us to make your personal information available to our worldwide business units. Privacy laws differ across the globe. If we share your information with a TechTrage affiliate or business unit that is outside of Thailand, we will do so consistent with this Policy.
To request that we remove your personally identifiable information from our database or to "opt-out" of any further e-mail or contact, send request to firstname.lastname@example.org. TechTrage will make a good faith effort to comply with such written requests within thirty days of receipt of the request.
TechTrage is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of web sites to which it may provide links or the web sites of its advertisers. TechTrage uses reasonable precautions to keep the personal information disclosed to us secure and to disclose such information only to responsible third parties. Please note that TechTrage makes no guarantee that information provided to us will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of firewalls or secure server software. TechTrage is not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the site. If there is a breach of security that impacts your personally identifiable information, you agree that TechTrage may notify you of the breach by electronic mail using any email address that you have provided to us for you.
